Wiköl Travel arranges seamless private transfers from San José International Airport (SJO) to Manuel Antonio, a scenic drive of approximately 3.5 to 4 hours via a modern highway. From Liberia (LIR), the most efficient route typically includes a private ground transfer or a domestic flight connection via San José or Quepos. For faster access, we recommend booking a private domestic flight to Quepos Airport, located just 20 minutes from Manuel Antonio.

Manuel Antonio National Park is open daily from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and remains closed on Tuesdays. Entrance tickets must be booked in advance online through the official SINAC platform. A valid passport or ID is required at the gate. Wiköl can secure your tickets and arrange a private guided tour to enhance your experience.

A rental car is not essential when traveling with Wiköl, as we offer door-to-door private transfers to and from your accommodations and experiences. However, if you prefer the flexibility of driving, Wiköl can also coordinate your rental car, with a selection of premium and 4×4 vehicle categories tailored to your itinerary. The ideal time to visit is during the dry season, from December to April, when sunny days are perfect for beach and nature exploration. If you’re interested in whale watching, the best months are July to October. For a quieter experience, we recommend early morning visits to the national park and avoiding weekends and public holidays.
